A Poetic Birthday Wishes From Hashim Yussuf Amao

Poem: Happy Birthday
Poet: Hashim Yussuf Amao
www.hashimyousuph.blogspot.com

             Birthday Wishes from Hashim
Birthdays indeed are memorable days
And so shall they be always
They are anniversary of birth
They drive our memory back to (early) life moments
They make us ruminate about moments of life
And hence, they help give thanks for the gift of life.

Nothing exist without a starting point
Right from the womb to the time one is born
From crawling to when one is fit to walk
Then taking steps in life
Turning fours to five
With the irresistible strive.

Day in day out the growth increases
Likewise the destined time decreases
You start elevating from the basics
Taking next step in the divine arrangement like matrix
Your sincere deeds at times get criticized by cynics
Hey! Never be downtrodden, learn not to restrict.

 Every 12 months you are +1 -1
So on your birthday never be over joyous
You won't live forever be humble
There is more to hereafter be thoughtful
For death may knock anytime soon
And does what it's been know to do.

Above stanzas are for remembrance cum admonition
And this shall focus on my wishes for your celebration
On your birthday I hope the Good God surprises you with fine compositions
Change your story and grant you mouthwatering elevation
May He never make you a victim of degradation
And to all your heartfelt desires may He answer in affirmation.
Happy birthday!!!

www.hashimyousuph.blogspot.com

               My Hearth Appreciates You.
You've been such an awesome partner
In bad situations you've always been an answer
Always trying to wipe my tears
And bringing limit to my fears
Carrying me along with good things like electrical loop
My heart so much appreciates you.

Being with a partner who makes one happy
They say make one less nasty
Smiles indeed you've put on my face
Even while still busy with your life race
Sweethearth, for the good moments I've shared with you,
My heart so much appreciates you.

Time spent with you has undoubtedly bring me joy
You've made me realize and learn a lot
I wish I can be with you for so long
I hope with then love, you don't lead me to slump
Indeed, our dreams shall make us more glue
Baby, my heart appreciates you.

Nothing is as sweet as being with a loved one
Every moment we shared I've enjoyed
Like a wet cloth and flesh in the rain
So I wish we could cling till we old and grey
I'm so blessed to have been with someone like you
My Love, my heart will forever appreciates you.

#LazyNigerianYouths: Nigerians Are Hypocritical -Hashim Yussuf Amao

www.hashimyousuph.blogspot.com

Hashim Yussuf Amao writes.
Nigerians and hypocrisy!

To start with, massive thanks to Ustadh Sirnucy lafiagi who has been of significant help in shedding light on this issue, his posts have always been educative and it has been of huge help in putting this together!!

#LazyNigeriaYouths
Nigerians and hypocrisy like 5&6 has been glued and only a supernatural force can bring separation!!
The latest Buhari's statement about youths has indeed exhibited the intelligence and stupidity in many so to say. The most pathetic part is those who tends to be elites but also present themselves as shenanigans!! Funny enough, some of them didn't even read the statement talk less of comprehending it, yet they jumped into nasty and annoying conclusions just as a result of what they were been told by their fellow crooks!!
Kindly note the fact that I'm neither a Pdpig nor Apsick, but rather a fan of reality, so thinking he is a Buharist or whatever is at your own peril.
Now delving into the issue, here is the bypassed statement of Buhari;
“…And then the economy, we have a very young
population. Our population is estimated conservatively
to be 180 million– this is a conservative one. More
than 60% of the population is below the age of 30.A lot
of them haven’t been to school, and they are claiming
that Nigeria has been an oil producing country and
therefore they should sit and do nothing, get housing,
healthcare, education free"

Shall we say there's no more difference between some/a lot/almost??
breaking this down, Most: 1: greatest in quantity, extent, or degree.
2 : the majority
A lot: a large number or amount; a great deal.
Most: 35/60, 40/60, 45/60, 50/60 55/60, 59/60
A lot: 20/60, 25/60, 30/60

Thus, one who sincerely peruse over the statement could easily point to the fact President Buhari was referring to uneducated youths whom despite not being educated still expect everything to come to them on a platter of gold. And pertinent to mention he wasn't referring to all of them. Is Buhari wrong with this?? And to those ranting here and there on social media, are they uneducated? Are they expecting things to come to them easily?? Now they keep uploading pictures of youths struggling here and there, why are they not uploading pictures of Cyber crime youths, why don't they upload pictures of youths at oritas hailing rich men for money, why did they choose not to upload pictures of youths at bet9ja shops?? See hypocrisy!!
And as a matter of fact, this kept me wondering if all their rants was a sincere one, or is it because the statement was coming from Buhari this time around??

When David Cameron address Nigeria as a fantastically corrupt country all these ranting youths were saying nothing!!

When Atiku said Nigerian public varsities graduates cannot compete
with his secondary school students, those ranting on social media now were no where to be found then
“There is no student in public universities that can
speak English in an error-free manner like the head boy
of my secondary, who just finished addressing us now.”
Atiku Abubakar
18th November, 2016
https://t.guardian.ng/news/nigerian-public-varsities-
graduates-cannot-compete-with-my-secondary-school-
students/

When Governor Dickson of Bayelsa state said
"Bayelsans are lazy gossipers. They want everything
free. They are not ready to work. How do I repair the
turbine when no one is ready to pay for services."
- Gov. Dickson on media Chat.
14th May, 2016... Everywhere was silent!!

Conclusively, for those saying that in a "saner clime" like
America, you can never hear the POTUS calling his
people lazy, here's Maazi Barack Obama referring to
the entire American people (not just the youth or a
certain demographic) as LAZY!!!

#sp=show-clips

When. Awolowo himself shade them back then, they kept mute
“The trouble with many Nigerian youths is that they
sleep too much, play too much; and indulge too much
in idle chatter and gossip.”
Chief Obafemi Awolowo’s
Ondo Town Hall, July 1974
His preamble at the Presentation of Gani Fawehinmi’s
book, "People’s Rights to Free Education At All Levels."
https://www.pmnewsnigeria.com/2014/04/24/the-
genius-of-obafemi-awolowo-and-the-contest-for-his-
political-space/
No one attacked him then, No one attacked these people then, so why quoting Buhari haphazardly now!! Is that not hypocrisy?!!

One of the reasons why we are still backward as a nation is hypocrisy, and Nigeria will be great again when we are not being mal-judgemental, when we are being sincere in our approaches and not being partial!! Once again I'm neither a PDP member nor APC fan, but rather a fan of reality. Stay blessed.
#God bless Nigeria

Poem: Dear Matriculants, Happy Matriculation.
Poem: Hashim Yussuf Amao
www.hashimyousuph.blogspot.com

           Dear Matriculants, Happy Matriculation.
My poems to you exhibits my felicitations
For officially today you are a student of this great institution
Many sought, but only few were granted admission
You being among the chosen one calls for celebration
Thus, never forget according to God, due appreciations.

In your pursuit for sound education
You left friends and family, just to pursue your vision.
However, for you here are piece of advice cum inspiration.
Approach every task only after better preparation
Do endeavor to work towards achieving your mission
Chase well your dreams, be it with dissatisfaction.
Now being a University student, from no one should you expect coercion.

To anything that can cause academic obstruction
Be quick in placing limitations
Even if by means of unwanted restrictions
Do so, so as not to be victimized by the repercussions
Forget not as well, the best way to preserve your admission
Is by strictly adhering to the school injunctions.

Oh yee freshers, in this academic pursuit of yours, uphold unto dedication.
For it is an hectic task, you so need devotion.
Queues, transportation and the unfriendly injunctions.
Reading, researches, assignments, and classes at times might cause frustration
But, these odysseys are mostly inevitable in education
However, the best remedy is to keep increasing your passion
And I so hope at the end, Almighty God grant you elevation.

Hard Drugs/ Alcohol So Good? Future Consequences Awaits You -Hashim Yussuf Amao

Hashim Yussuf Amao writes.

HARD DRUGS/ ALCOHOL SO GOOD? FUTURE CONSEQUENCES AWAITS YOU!!!

As usual, this morning I switch to FM radio on my phone. I tuned it to' koko inu iwe iroyin' with Mr. Opaebiti on Royal FM 95.1.Ilorin. The aspect being looked into after the news was " The usage of hard drugs and alcohol" The guest (name forgotten), during the course of his presentation retorted "Govt. as well should be blamed for the usage of hard drugs and alcohol, for many a people uses these things while they're depressed" The statement went wrong with me, I tried my possible best to get in to the studio via phone call, but all my efforts on this proved abortive. Albeit, the simple assertion I intended to make was quoting the guest and after that ask the subsequent questions "Sir, what of those that pomp champagne while celebrating victory, what of kooks who celebrate ceremonies with alcohol, what of folks who take hard drugs just to get high for silly reasons (like sleeping with a lady) Are these set of people also depressed? But just minutes after I stopped the unproductive calls, A man who I always admire his daily contributions to the programme (Kafata) later called from Oke lele Ilorin and behold, I doff hat for his contribution again. He thus exclaim, "From the onset, these hard drugs and alcohols were not produced in Nigeria, so how come they made their way into this country in the first instance. In fact, seaman and co had Nafdac no written on them, how could this be so?? It's appalling" I was like wow a reasonable person just contributed. Hence, pertinent enough to hammer on is the fact that no excuse should pave way for the usage of Hard drugs or Alcohol. Education aside, a reasonable person can simply conclude this would only damage his/her intellect. Albeit, the consequences might not show up now but it's inevitable in future!! A more reason Allah aptly warned in the Quran Surah Al-Maeda, Verse 90:
"يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِنَّمَا الْخَمْرُ وَالْمَيْسِرُ وَالْأَنصَابُ وَالْأَزْلَامُ رِجْسٌ مِّنْ عَمَلِ الشَّيْطَانِ فَاجْتَنِبُوهُ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ

O you who believe! intoxicants and games of chance and (sacrificing to) stones set up and (dividing by) arrows are only an uncleanness, the Shaitan's work; shun it therefore that you may be successful."

Allah is perfect and has created us in the perfect way for vital reasons. The lowness you called  highness you're craving for will only channel you to incur the wrath of Allah. Many a people has done great things, had good impacts that they'd many things registered under them unlike the only sim card registered with your name. Yet, they achieved all these without the illicit highness, wouldn't you rather be reasonable and do away with these hard substances????
