HARD DRUGS/ ALCOHOL SO GOOD? FUTURE CONSEQUENCES AWAITS YOU!!!
As usual, this morning I switch to FM radio on my phone. I tuned it to' koko inu iwe iroyin' with Mr. Opaebiti on Royal FM 95.1.Ilorin. The aspect being looked into after the news was " The usage of hard drugs and alcohol" The guest (name forgotten), during the course of his presentation retorted "Govt. as well should be blamed for the usage of hard drugs and alcohol, for many a people uses these things while they're depressed" The statement went wrong with me, I tried my possible best to get in to the studio via phone call, but all my efforts on this proved abortive. Albeit, the simple assertion I intended to make was quoting the guest and after that ask the subsequent questions "Sir, what of those that pomp champagne while celebrating victory, what of kooks who celebrate ceremonies with alcohol, what of folks who take hard drugs just to get high for silly reasons (like sleeping with a lady) Are these set of people also depressed? But just minutes after I stopped the unproductive calls, A man who I always admire his daily contributions to the programme (Kafata) later called from Oke lele Ilorin and behold, I doff hat for his contribution again. He thus exclaim, "From the onset, these hard drugs and alcohols were not produced in Nigeria, so how come they made their way into this country in the first instance. In fact, seaman and co had Nafdac no written on them, how could this be so?? It's appalling" I was like wow a reasonable person just contributed. Hence, pertinent enough to hammer on is the fact that no excuse should pave way for the usage of Hard drugs or Alcohol. Education aside, a reasonable person can simply conclude this would only damage his/her intellect. Albeit, the consequences might not show up now but it's inevitable in future!! A more reason Allah aptly warned in the Quran Surah Al-Maeda, Verse 90:
"يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِنَّمَا الْخَمْرُ وَالْمَيْسِرُ وَالْأَنصَابُ وَالْأَزْلَامُ رِجْسٌ مِّنْ عَمَلِ الشَّيْطَانِ فَاجْتَنِبُوهُ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ
O you who believe! intoxicants and games of chance and (sacrificing to) stones set up and (dividing by) arrows are only an uncleanness, the Shaitan's work; shun it therefore that you may be successful."
Allah is perfect and has created us in the perfect way for vital reasons. The lowness you called highness you're craving for will only channel you to incur the wrath of Allah. Many a people has done great things, had good impacts that they'd many things registered under them unlike the only sim card registered with your name. Yet, they achieved all these without the illicit highness, wouldn't you rather be reasonable and do away with these hard substances????
